Through the JOE network (Job Openings for Economists), the most important publication of this kind in the world, the Department of Economics of the University of Chile is seeking professors to fill the position of Assistant Professor.

The requirements to participate are: Ph.D. in economics, interest in research and also ability to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates are sought in all fields of economics. Knowledge of Spanish language is not required, but successful applicants ares expected to be able to teach in this language within a couple of years.

Los requisitos para participar son tener un doctorado en economía, poseer interés por la investigación y también habilidad para la enseñanza en pregrado y posgrado. Se buscan candidatos en todos los campos de la economía y aunque no es obligatorio que sepan español, se espera que quienes resulten seleccionados logren dictar clases en este idioma luego de un par de años.
