Abstract
Extrapolation of treatment effects in Regression Discontinuity designs is very important, yet extremely challenging. Because of the local nature of these effects, researchers have recently proposed some approaches for their extrapolation away from the cutoff. All available methods rely on strong assumptions in the context of single-cutoff RD designs. In this paper, we propose a new method for extrapolating RD treatment effects when multiple RD cutoffs are present. Our approach employs intuitive and easy-to-interpret underlying assumptions, and implementation is straightforward. We illustrate our methods with a novel education application.
