Academic degrees
Aldo González holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Toulouse.
His research focuses on competition policy, the regulation of imperfect markets, and industrial organization.
He has served as a consultant to several public agencies, private corporations, and international organizations, including the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the OECD. From 2016 to 2020, he was Director of the Master in Public Policy program, and in 2022 he was a Visiting Professor at the University of Barcelona.
Since 2023, he has been a member of Chile’s Technical Panel for Public-Private Partnerships (Panel Técnico de Concesiones de Obras Públicas).
