Ariadna Jou is an assistant professor in the Department of Economics. She holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Master’s degree in Economics of Public Policy from the Barcelona School of Economics.

She has specialized in labor economics, public finance, and economic history. She teaches Introduction to Economics for undergraduate students and Topics in Economic History in the graduate programs.

Prior to joining DECON, she served as a research assistant and instructor at UCLA.
