Cristina Griffa is an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at the Universidad de Chile. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Nottingham, a Master’s in Economics from Northwestern University, and a Master’s in Public Administration from Columbia University.
Throughout her career, she has held various roles in the financial sector. Her experience ranges from the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Argentina to the Bank of England, including the IDB, the World Bank, and the OMERS investment fund.
Her research areas are monetary economics and macroeconomics, specifically inflation dynamics, expectation formation, and heterogeneity.
