Academic degrees

  • Doctor en Economía, Universidad de Berkeley
  • Economista, Universidad de Chile.
  • Pablo Muñoz joined the Department of Economics at the School of Economics and Business in January 2024. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Universidad de Chile.

    He is currently a researcher at the Millennium Nucleus Center for the Study of the Consequences and Perceptions of Immigration (MIGRA). Previously, he was a faculty member at the Brazilian School of Economics and Finance (FGV EPGE) and the Center for Applied Economics (CEA) in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Universidad de Chile.

    His primary research interests are labor economics and political economy.
