Pablo Serra

ablo Serra is an engineer from Universidad de Chile and holda a Ph.D. in economics from Yale University. Currently he is a professor of economics at the Universidad de Chile. He has published works in the Quarterly Journal of Economics, Economics Letters, International Economic Review, The Journal of International Economics, World Development, The Canadian Journal of Economics, Energy Economics, the National Tax Journal, Energy Policy, and Public Administration and Development, as well as in Latin American Journals. He regularly consults for international organizations such as the Inter-American Development Bank, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, the Chilean government, and the Chilean private sector. He specializes in economic regulation and public economics. He served in the Chilean Anti-trust commission between 1992 and year 2000, and was a judge in the anti-trust tribunal (2004-2006).
