Researcher at INTELIS and the Department of Economics at the University of Chile. He works also as senior economist at the Financial Policy Division of the Central Bank of Chile. Ph.D. in Management from the Anderson School at UCLA, Master in economics at UCLA, Bachelor and Magister in economics at the University of Chile. His fields of specialisation are international trade, productivity and innovation, and recent works deal with the impact of Chinese imports on domestic manufacturing plants, the effect of financial crises on firm performance, and innovation and productivity in Chilean firms.
